Bereits im vergangenen Jahr lud das Islay House in Kooperation mit der SMWS vor dem Start des offiziellen Festivals zu einem weiteren Open Day.
Wie bereits im vergangenen Jahr fand die Feier in zwei Zelten im Garten des Islay House statt, da aufgrund vieler Verzögerungen und neuer Erkenntnisse im Baufortschritt an eine Fertigstellung des Gebäudes noch nicht zu denken war.

Last year, the Islay House already invited visitors to another Open Day in cooperation with the SMWS before the 'official' start of the festival.
And like last year, the party took place in two tents in their garden, as some delays and new findings made it impossible to have any chance of completing the renovation in time.
So gab es auch in diesem Jahr wieder eine Gartenparty mit Burgern, Austern und Seafood.

Ein sehr schöner Port Charlotte - beide Abfüllungen waren gleichauf in der Meinung der Besucher. Unsere Präferenz jedoch lag jedoch bei diesem hier.
